“Gran' Mère Kalle” was in Saint-Gilles on October 28, 2006.
For the 4th consecutive year, kids and other ones could meet “Gran' Mère Kalle”, wandering in Saint-Gilles in the search of his small son.
History of “Grand’mère Kal”:
After the disappearance of her Grandson Tikala, Gran' Mère Kalle, a slave who could cure, leaves Mahavel mysteriously. Consequently, strange things occurred in the mountains of island bourbon… One says that “Kala” wanders in the paths and on the isolated ways. She would always carry a small lamp whose wavering flame would frighten those which are ventured, at night out of their residence… Be careful, children, “Gran' Mère Kalle” grinds…
